Each year, our Zeta Pi Chapter hosts a handful of activities and events — both casual and formal.
Three in particular stand out as our key events for both Undergraduates and Alumni to come together:
- Orchid Ball (usually in the first half of the calendar year)
- Pig Roast (typically the first week of September, during Oakland University’s Welcome Week)
- Golf Outing (first Saturday in October)
We will announce specific dates and details for each of these three events once they are finalized, but please feel free to keep these general time-frames in mind as you plan your calendars. We look forward to seeing you!
You can also follow the Sigma Pi Oakland Chapter on Facebook and on Twitter at @SigmaPiOakland to find more details on the many more regular activities hosted by the Undergraduate Chapter.
The Zeta Pi Alumni Association (ZPAA) is a separate organization made up of alumni from our fraternity’s OU chapter.
We also hold multiple events each year: a poker night, baseball outing at Jimmy John’s Field, and the Fall Classic Golf Outing. Other non-ZPAA events also include monthly Brotherhood Nights and other activities with alumni members. You can find more information on those alumni-related events here.
